Welcome to the website for the Road Safety Trust funded project, Reducing Cycling Injuries While Cycling Grows. The project started in January 2019 and finishes in July 2020, and is based at the University of Westminster.

The study analyses route environment factors that increase or reduce injury risk for people cycling in the UK. We are using a ‘case-crossover’ analysis that compares sites at which cyclists were injured, with other ‘control’ sites randomly chosen from their routes prior to injury. Please take a look around our site to find out more about the methods, events, and people involved in the project.
